Shoe Sales: 11/12/2014

sale1112“But it was on sale! I couldn’t afford NOT to buy it!” How many of us are guilty of justifying our shoe purchases this way? Here’s a collection of sales I’m eyeing this week.

Have you purchased a bright neon pump yet? This pair from Forever21 is the perfect neon but muted not-so-in-your-face lime yellow. And for $24, you don’t have to feel quite so guilty for adding this fun trend piece.

Winter time is the best to keep a lookout for wedge sales and the Rachel Zoe Norah Crocodile Embossed wedge is no exception. Except this pair isn’t one that you have to stash away until Summer comes again, the sleek black crocodile print makes it appropriate for winter wear. Just pair with jeans for chic casual or glam it up with an evening gown.

For leopard print shoes, I’m partial to a lighter buff  beige or wheat brown backgrounds (rather than dark caramel browns) that make the leopard spots really pop out. I also prefer calf hair over the suede versions. Calf hair not adds to the leopard effect but the texture also provides a more luxurious feel. The DV by Dolce Vita Oaklee Leopard Calf Hair Pumps meets all of my criteria AND is only sale for 30% Off. Lucky me!

Burgundy, Maroon, Oxblood, whatever you call it, is a must have color for Winter. Score a pair of Sam Edelman’s Zachary Ankle CUff Side Pump for 40% off and under $100! I’m loving the tie front and side cuff details.

I’m all about texture this week, from crocodile to calf hair, and the snakeskin texture of the H&M pump is another that I’m thirsting to own. How many of us have purchased pleather or plastic shoes for over $50? Guilty. So the H&M 100% Leather pumps for just $50 is a no-brainer.
