DV by Dolce Vita ‘Saint’ Sandal

DV by Dolce Vita-Saint-Sandal

Ever since I saw the trailer for “Sex and the City 2″ all I can think of is vacationing in some faraway land and eating grapes under a tent in the desert. Unfortunately, this will not be happening, however I’ve adopted the motto, ‘fake it till you make it’. This Moroccan inspired DV ‘Saint’ sandal is perfect for bringing your wardrobe an exotic edginess. The metallic leather is accented by reflective studs, perfect for glistening in the summer sun (whether it be in middle America or a concrete jungle).

BCBGeneration ‘Petler’ Boot

BCBGeneration-Petler-Boot

Is it horrible to fall in love with a boot you already own in 4 different variations? I’d like to think that I know what works and if it’s not broken…don’t fix it. The BCBGeneration ‘Petler’ Boot is made of gorgeous suede in a chic and seamless design. The slighted pointed toe elongates the leg, while the small wooden wedge adds a bit of height, which for me is a must. I received these in the mail via free 2 day shipping thanks to ENDLESS. And bonus, they currently had this perfect boot marked down 56%! If I could justify it (believe me I tried) I would have bought 2 in black and brown. After much debate (in my head) I ordered 1 in brown and have been trying them on with different outfits ever since.

Report ‘Kimball’ Flat

Report-Kimball-Flat

The inner girly-girl in me is absolutely infatuated with these striped flats. From the floral pom-pom adorning the top of the rounded toe to the candy striped surface. I feel the need to raid Quin’s (from Glee) closet and find an adorable Anthropologie dress and slipping on these flats, while of course doing a totally fun dance and sing number. Shoes like this don’t have to have a reason or any practicality, they just make your outfit exponentially more adorable.

House of Harlow 1960 ‘Maddie’ Beaded Moccasin Booties

House of Harlow 1960-Maddie-Moccasin Booties

Nicole Richie = Boho Fashion Frontman? I think so. Apparently she has decided to expand her popular House of Harlow 1960 line and move into shoes. This is just one of a few styles she has come out with and I must say, it’s really cute. I love moccasin booties but I can’t stand the look of fringe, was has caused an uproar (with only me) because all moccasin booties come with fringe! This ode to Native American inspired fashion has me wanting to drop almost $250.00..just so I can look as cool as Nicole does. Unfortunately, I have to wait till other copycat designers follow and make a much more affordable version. Until then I will just lust over these totally awesome booties.

Toms ‘Classic Canvas Slip On’ Sneaker

TOMS-Classic Canvas Slip On-Sneaker

If you’re like me, then the TOMS commercial most definitely had an impact on you. If you didn’t feel a little ache in your heart, well my friend you have a heart of stone. Seeing those adorable kids running around in brand new shoes and yes, the pretty good looking guy handing them out compelled me to purchase a pair of my own. Besides the fact that you are buying for a good cause, they look really cool and are..COMFORTABLE. I can’t even stress this point. I don’t know what the soles are made out of, but they are seriously like walking on clouds. They come in crazy patterns and all colors, which makes you want to buy multiple pairs (so beware). But seriously, you have the best validation for swiping a few pairs.

Enzo Angliolini ‘Starlite’ Platform

Enzo Angiolini-starlite-platform pump

If you’re anything like me then platform pumps make you kind of nervous. Something about them seems ‘hoe-y’ (as my mom would say). Especially the ever popular peep-toe, patent leather platform sling-back. But I’ve come to the conclusion that mini skirt wearing, tube top sporting, over tanned girls give them a bad rep. These Enzo Angliolini platforms are just as ready for a perfectly tailored business suit as they are for a flirty skirt and leather jacket. I will say, it’s all in how you pull the entire look together, so be weary of lot’s of makeup and plunging necklines.

Por La Victoire ‘Baylie’ Pump

Por La Victoire_Baylie

I tried to hold off on the Taylor Swift fever as long as possible, but her catchy tunes got the best of me. I mean…how long could I put off listening to the radio for anyway? Blasting her overplayed hit “Love Song” on Grooveshark.com and browsing through shoes is not recommended. My taste for edgy studs or boyish silhouettes was wiped clean the moment I started to sing-a-long. All of sudden I’m drawn to floral, pink, ruffles and satin. But I must admit these shoes are stunningly charming and feminine. With the delicate ruffled back to the pointed toe and satin finish. Although I still think Taylor Swift pulled a fast one on me, I’m still 100% digging these pretty pumps.
