Elastic backs seem to be showing up everywhere in flats.  I’m still undecided about them.  I have owned a pair and after a while they rubbed against my heel resulting in painful pink tender spot on the back of my foot (not cute).  But I have heard of good quality flats that have a similar backing actually being comfortable.  I’m going to take a guess and say that the All Black ‘Crosstoe’ flat is one of those flats.  I love the deep red-purple along with the cut outs on the sides.  The play of textures keeps this flat current and new and let’s be honest..who doesn’t want to look current and new?

All Black ‘Crosstoe’ Flat

Over the knee boots have increasingly become popular since they showed up on Anne Hathaway in ‘The Devil Wears Prada’.  But personally I’m not a huge fan.  I am, however quite fond of these Frye ‘Paige Cuff’ Boots.  Unlike the skin tight over the knee boots the Frye boot can be worn by almost anyone.  I’m really digging the buckle in the back which really complements the casual appeal of the boot.  Don’t be afraid to try something new with your boot wardrobe.  This boot will look great with thick printed tights and a sweater dress.

Frye ‘Paige Cuff’ Boot

Yes, I have already posted these flats, BUT now they are in different colors!  I love my electric blue Kobraas but this pewter is gorgeous. I’m ready to move on from gold and silver and have the bronzes and pewters step into the game. With all the browns and purples that are going to be surrounding us this season it’s important that we have a great pair of metallics shoes to match.

Corso Como ‘Violet’ Oxford

I am on an endless search for a great pair of causal heeled boots.  When looking at the ‘Wendy’ boots I have a feeling that my search is over.  Although I’m a gray and black girl, there is something about the aged brown leather that has caught my interest.  I love the thick leather, rounded pointed toe, and wide heel… definitely the boot for fall.  Time to get out your knee high socks and cold weather stockings ladies, the cold weather is here and you will want to look your best (and with these boots it should be only too easy).
