Even despite the fact there will always be a looming fear that I won’t be able to walk properly in these 4.5” heels. Something about the matte red and black diamond shapes with a surprise cut-out draws me in. Not only does Gwen create a show-stopping silhouette and print, she adds the woven platform! Ah, genius in my book.

Is it horrible to fall in love with a boot you already own in 4 different variations? I’d like to think that I know what works and if it’s not broken…don’t fix it. My sister is getting married and it has now given me another excuse to hunt for shoes (like I needed one). Seriously, who can resist these insanely adorable oxfords? Just think… full floral mini dress, slouchy beanie, leather messenger bag and these shoes. Perfect. Can you see it? If not, you should google image it. This menswear inspired trend has taken over my style and has no intention of letting go. But what’s so great is that designers have found a way to give it a feminine and girly twist, so it doesn’t overwhelm with masculinity. I wouldn’t call Steve Madden the forefront of design, however with the ‘Tirah’ oxford he sort of nailed it on the head.
