It is time to set aside your converses and embrace the Onitsuka Tiger brand.  I have been pushing this brand for 5 years now (although it has been around for waaay longer) and it just never jumped into the spot light like Chuck Taylors did.  However, it is a favorite among many, but with the different color combinations and styles it comes in… it is pretty hard to resist.  The ‘Ultimate 81′ in bright green and blue is perfect for spring and summer.

OK, so honesty how many of us can say that we own a really cool pair of sneakers (chucks do not apply).  Everyone needs at least one pair of show stopping sneakers.  Adidas is famous for their fusion of hip hop and sports.  The ‘Honey Pinstripe’ totally gives off that rich, cool, and confident style while holding on to the casualness of a sneaker.  I love the bold gold tongue that continues all the way to the toe, it’s just enough to have that pop of metallic but not too much where it begins to look tacky (for lack of a better word). Pair these with some skinny jeans and a loose fitting V-neck and you will be effortlessly cool.

Cool gray with a touch of purple.  This sleek and laid back sneaker is perfect for running errands or just a busy day.  With working out clothes getting so cute these days it’s important that your footwear keep up!  Just because we aren’t pumping iron or sweating in hot yoga doesn’t mean we don’t love to wear our cute dry fit capris and colorful hoodies.  So when you do decide to go a little comfortable cute, make sure that you have some sporty trendy sneakers to complete your look.

By the way, I chose gray and purple because of my Alma mater but be sure to checkout the brick red and yellow if your fighting for the trojans!

As far as casual sneakers go…Puma has always been on the scene.  Now designers have all jumped on the casual sneaker band wagon, which means brands like Puma has to step up their game.  Luckily for them they are still coming out with trendy and innovative footwear.  I have seen and tried these on for myself and I must say they look way better on and feel great.  They are breathable, offer support and look cute.  I say these are a great way to get from point A to point B…C…and D.

I recently had the opportunity to try these cross trainers out. Being a big believer in working out and keeping healthy I tried these shoes out on the treadmill. Like all cross trainers it took a little running to break them in, however combined with the vented outside and cushioned bottom it became more comfortable. Most of you know the brand Asics..and this shoe’s look reminded me of the popular brand. The reflective material is useful if you like running at night and the cute pink colors make you feel stylish during your work out. I do, however recommend that you order a half a size smaller, because it runs a little big. So if your looking for a good priced running shoe you have found it, I can’t speak on behalf of the longevity of the shoe (because I just got them) but I can say so far, so good.

I have a few pairs of the Onitsuka Tigers already, so if I seem completely biased in my opinion…it’s because they are awesome. I think these sneakers personify hip, cool, and casual. You can throw these on and know that they aren’t any pair of sneakers, they are stylish and will take your outfit up a notch. As much as I love my vans and my converse sneakers…the Tiger keeps pulling me in. Also, they come in different colors!
