Steven by Steve Madden ‘Simmerr’ Sandal
Here is yet another great example of the thick strapped sandals coming out this season. Steven’s ‘Simmerr’ platform sandal will go along great with the current trend in fashion right now. A lot of celebrities are pairing long dresses with leather jackets and chunky heels, the leather jacket and shoes offset the softness of the dress making it edgy and unique. However if you (like me) or short on invitations to a red carpet event try these with a cute pencil skirt or structured dress!

MISS SIXTY ‘Dakota’ Pump
Thick straps and big buckles are huge this season! The great thing about them is that they are chunky without making your feet look big! I love how the straps mold onto the bottom of the platform making it more sleek and chic. And MISS SIXTY has opted for a different heel making it a rounded point, which adds the uniqueness of the shoe.

Steve Madden ‘Engaged’ Pump
I can’t stray too far from my basics. The Steve Madden ‘Engaged’ pump is such great shoe, with the clean black leather (or brown) and the raised platform front. Not to mention this shoe will make your legs look amazing! It’s classy enough to wear to work but will still look hot with your ‘going out’ outfits (versatility at its best).

Pour La Victoire ‘Dominique’ Pump
Spring doesn’t always mean bright clothing and flowers, sometimes its nice to tone it down and just look pretty. I love this Pour La Victoire platform pump! It’s four strap design is unique and the whole vibe from the sandal is sexy classy. Go natural and pair these with a pencil skirt or structured dress.

Frye ‘Rachael’ Sandal
As much as I hate to say this…brown is probably going to be a better color for spring than black is. Because of the bright colors that are going to be popular this season your going to need a neutral shoe, something less dense than black, enter: brown. The metal hardware mixed in with the wood grain platform is a great look, they both add details to the shoe that are going to get noticed and complement whatever it is you’re wearing. And another bonus..this shoes look super comfy.

L.A.M.B ‘Daniella’ Platform Pump
I commend Gwen Stefani. Not every celebrity can do the fashion business and do it well. I must say I am impressed with her innovative style. This is one of her newer styles and I really dig it. The blue is a really pretty shade and the patent leather black toe makes it modern and edgy. Also if you look closely you can see that the blue has a diamond pattern (very cool). With these pumps accompanying your outfits you will feel chic and sexy..guaranteed.
p.s if you go to Chicalert.com there is this hot black patent leather tote (on sale!) that would be the perfect complement to these shoes!

Jessica Simpson ‘Reeba’ Platform Pump
So lets face the facts shall we? Jessica Simpson is never going to be cutting edge or a trend setter in fashion, however she does seem to make the basic shoes well. Which is why I continue to post her. With her obvious ode to Reeba McEntire she has made a great looking basic everyday pump. I’m liking the subtle platform with the slight pointy toe. This is the kind of shoe you want to have in a black and brown because shoes like this never really go out of style.
