Is it horrible to fall in love with a boot you already own in 4 different variations? I’d like to think that I know what works and if it’s not broken…don’t fix it. The BCBGeneration ‘Petler’ Boot is made of gorgeous suede in a chic and seamless design. In the past I have always rejected the ‘cowgirl’ inspired boot, but slowly I am starting to see their appeal.  I don’t think wearing cowboy boots are attractive, however I will go for this more rustic, vintage look.  I love the distressed look of the leather, it makes them look more interesting and worn in (in a good way).  Even the buckle or harness adds great detail, making this boot ideal for casual wear.  I may not be able to pull this look off, but many of you out there can.

I know we all start to sweat a little bit when seeing the ‘name of a shoe’ in number form.  Even though I can’t say that it doesn’t matter (because in this case it does) I can say what a fabulous design this is.  Gray is not boring when it is on something unexpected like boots.  When I come across a great gray boot it becomes almost irresistible to me.  The color, slight wedge, exposed zipper, and asymmetrical opening makes this boot a must have.  Even the little stud at the top makes a fashion statement.

FRYE does yet another great boot.  Even though they seem to stick to a certain motif, I must say ‘if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it.’  The front thick strap, big buckle, and round toe are a staple in the FRYE designs and defines their boots.   The mid-calf height looks great with tights and to try something a little bit different, put on a flowy mini skirt to offset the solid leather.  Because of the height and color this boot will take you from this season to the next without missing a beat.

For those of us who are on a budget but still want to look good then I definitely have the boot for you.  Madden Girl has managed to give us affordable fashion.  I have slowly transitioned from tall knee high boots to mid level.  If you like to tuck your jeans into your boots then opt for a mid shaft boot, like this one.  I guarantee that your jeans will be less snug and your are less likely to get those awful jean creases where you forced your jeans inside.  This boot also looks great with a flowy dress, tights, and a cute leather jacket.
