Every girl needs a workout shoe, whether it’s for the gym or for running outside during a nice day. I love the new Nike Free Run+ 2 running shoes because they are so light. They also have an inner sleeve that hugs your foot, so rather than making my feet look super bulky like most cross trainers they look and fit perfectly. I like the light teal and gray colors, but there are plenty from you to choose from.

Welcome to a Sale Saturday! I found this great Privo ‘Mesa’ flat that would work perfectly for the rainy weather outside my office right now.  And it’s one sale! wohoo!  There’s rubber grip on the bottom to keep my from falling on my butt while walking around and covers a good amount of my foot.  Plus, not only is Privo known for being comfortable, but I think they are just so go “dog-gone-it” cute. (I could help but put a little Palin reference, whether you like her or not..her some of her turn of phrases are a bit funny.  I’m loving this grean with the little velco strap detail across the top.  The Privo Mesa is a perfect mix of the young and trendy with comfort. The Mesa is an ideal shoe for those college students walking across campus from class to class. Also, don’t be afraid to wear a fun patterned sock with this..I guarantee, you can pull it off. =)

So everyone seems to love the Onitsuka ASICS Tigers, and I’ve got a pair (or two) of the beloved line, but I don’t want to neglect the ASICS that we can actually exercise in also.  After more months than I would prefer to count, I’ve been pretty slack on exercising and keeping myself healthy.  But with my brother’s wedding coming up I decided it’s time get my butt in gear and tone up a bit, especially since the wonderfully fast metabolism of my youth is now close to non-existent.  To get me on my exercise binge, I of course, bought a pair of running shoes – and went back to my junior high old school brand – ASICS.  After jogging/elliptical-ing 3 miles and some light weight-lifting my ASICS were still feeling great.  No break-in period needed people!  That’s a serious plus with any shoe.   Don’t let the a fast metabolism now, or the colder weather put your exercise plans into hibernation.  With that, I give to you a pair of ASICS to try out -the ASICS Gel-Kayano 14, look great, feel great – are stupendous.
