The Over-The-Knee boot is something that every girl needs in her shoe closet. These boots are statement shoes, dramatic with a “can’t be missed” appeal. Is yellow making it’s way into fashion? I love the color yellow, and i’m not just talking about the yellow that you associate with sunshine and daisies. The olive yellows and the mustard yellows are great for fall and winter because they have a deeper tone to them.  Those are the yellows that will go perfectly with your winter season wardrobe! Sam Edelman’s ‘Lola’ flat is that mustard color but with some texture and cutouts, which I’m a huge fan of. This would look great with some dark wash jeans! You could even play up the color with accessories like a head band or cute earrings!

I really dig these Sam Edelman flats because it’s funky without going over the top. Besides loving the metallic colors he went with, I also think the little cut outs on the top of the shoe is what gives this edgy flat some prettiness. Be sure to notice the ankle strap, very cute and a new trend in flats (beware, people like me who have slightly more muscular calves..these tend to look better on skinnier legs). But no worries, sometimes showing the ankle strap is unnecessary and you can just pair it with some cute skinny jeans!
