Steve Madden ‘Kobraa’ Flat

steve-madden-kobraa-skimmer.jpg

I’m infamous for my blue, black, and gray wardrobe.  Apparently I don’t branch out much.  However just because a majority (not all, despite what my friends say) of my clothes stay within those 3 colors doesn’t mean I can’t have fun with it.  For instance the ‘Kobraa’ flat is in this amazing electric blue.  I love the snake texture, it definitely makes this otherwise ordinary flat standout!  Steve Madden has definitely won the hearts of us blue lovers out there.

Keds ‘Champion’ Sneaker

Kids-Champion-Sneaker

During my travels to Europe I stumbled upon sneakers very similar to these.  Barcelona’s prime canvas sneaker was called Victoria.  These simple, yet stylish sneakers are becoming increasingly popular.  I must admit I did break down and buy a pair of navy blue Victoria sneakers in Barcelona, despite the horrible dollar to euro exchange rate.  But I couldn’t be more happy about my choice, I wear them with jeans, shorts, skirts, and leggings.  Being able to wear them with most of my casual outfits has helped me come in terms with the 2 more pairs I bought when I came back home.

Dolce Vita ‘Madison’ Pump

Dolce Vita-Madison-pump

Talk about a sexy pump.  I can just see the outfit built around these highly seductive heels…pencil skirt, light weight cotton razer back tank top and a bangle wrapped around the middle of the forearm.  Enough said.

Lauren by Ralph Lauren ‘Berdy’ Wedge

A little champagne never hurt anyone.  Especially when it is the color on your wonderfully woven Ralph Lauren wedges.  This undeniably pretty shoe is a great accompaniment to the many weddings you are invited to or with that 50’s inspired summer dress you have been dying to wear. Also, big plus, lack of an ankle strap means that it won’t shorten the length of your legs (and we all rejoiced)!

Dolce Vita ‘Moritz-36′ Flat

Dolce Vita-Mortiz 36-Flat

Bring on the bright pinks, yellows, and greens!  Neons have invaded the fashion world for summer.  Now this doesn’t mean you can finally throw on those neon MC Hammer pants you have been saving since 1991.  However, it does mean that shoes are going to be great neon/bright accents to your wardrobe!  I love these hot pink textured flats!  Picture a cute little summer dress or straight leg jeans with these adorably hip shoes and how much it will elevate the whole look.

Frye ‘Molly Braid’ Ballet Flat

Frye-Molly Braid-Ballet Flat

Don’t get me wrong…I like black and white as much as the next girl, but what about gray? I think this often overlooked color should get its moment in the spotlight. I’m really digging the vintage gray with the braid detail accented by the brassy gold buckle. What’s great about the color gray is that you can pair it with dark browns, pinks, reds, and blues so there will never be a time where you have think too hard on what you could wear with these wonderful flats.

BC Footwear ‘Sprint’ Wedge Moccasin

BC Footwear-Sprint-Wedge Moccasin

Look familiar?  I hope so, because these were popular a couple years back.  BC Footwear has brought back the boat shoe (or moccasin as BC calls it) with a wedge.  I remember not liking these at first, but later they began to grow on me.  The more I saw them with cute little cotton summer dresses, shorts and skirts the more I found myself looking for a pair.  I’m not sure if these will catch on quite like they did a couple years back, but all that really means is you will look more original.
