Somehow in the sea of black patent leather pumps this MICHAEL by Michael Kors pump stood out to me.  However, I will be honest in saying that I wasn’t sure how I felt about it… until I tried them on.  I love the hidden platform and the small pointed toe! This shoe embodies the idea of having sex appeal but remaining classy. It was refreshing to see a thick heel among the many stilettos in its surroundings.  I’ve seen this worn with skinny jeans, skirts, dresses, and slightly cropped work pants, and let me be the first to tell you… it all works!  They are different, beautiful and heading in the right direction for fashion.

So I’m adding a bonus post for a day I missed and the other day I only posted one. It’s been a busy 2 weeks for me however I will be posting twice a day…so never fear! Yellow once again has caught my eye as it has probably with everyone else. Designers have been getting into the elastic back, but the only problem is it rubbing the back of the heel. But luckily for you this soft leather buckled flat won’t be a problem and is pretty comfortable.

I think Michael Kors knows what he does best, hes great at making a classic look trendy and young. Speaking of which, did anyone watch the Project Runway finale?! (It was soo good) I love how hes mixing textures from the stiff weaved material for the body of the wedge to the rubber sole. You don’t quite see the rubber sole like this unless its one of those high heel tennis shoes (no good) but I think it works for this shoe, it keeps it looking younger and very warm weather appropriate.

A heeled boot! I felt that I may have neglected the heeled boot, so heres my first post on one! I love how designers are getting more creative with boots these days, Michael Kors being one of them. This boot is suede (huge right now) and has a scrunched top. I have seen this boot on women before and I think it looks great! The scrunched rim is flirty and different. I have never tried on these heels myself, but the women who wear them have worn them for hours at a time, meaning..hey it’s gotta comfortable! Be warned ladies this boot is not for everyone, you have to have longer legs to wear these. You can scrunch them down a little bit, but it looks best pulled up.

Hint: measure your heel to a little below your knee. This boot height is 18.5” so make sure it doesn’t go past your knee!)
