Bridesmaid Shoes: Rewind
Biviel BV1208 - Flats are a great option for comfort and if you happen to be taller, they can also be dressed up or down.
Nine West Falcoin - satin is always a lovely way to keep things elegant. Go for detail (like the pleating in this Falcoin) and bright colors to also add your own flavor.
Charles by Charles David - Tyrst: stylish and traditional. Subtle lizard prints like this Tyrst sandal is great and the twist makes the show modern.
Nina Vikki - great for a wedding that goes into the evening because of the color, while still keeping your feet cool in the summer.
Bridesmaid shoe tips: you don’t have to be “matchy matchy” with your dress. Contrasting colors will go great with the popular single tone bold colors that are being used for many dresses today. Look for comfort as well. Only wear a shoe with a heel height, and constructed in a way, that you know you will be comfortable in the entire day- no matter how fabulous the shoe is. Comfort is key, you don’t want to be wincing in pictures. You can mix things up with different colors, prints, materials and straps. Also, it doesn’t hurt to suggest having all the bridesmaid’s getting the same shoe in a variety of colors. Makes for nicer pictures, and we all know how important pictures are.

Bridesmaid Shoes Part II - Charles by Charles David ‘Tryst’ Sandal
For something a bit more traditional, I’ve found a new take on an old-school shoe. We’ve all seen these (as I like to call them) “one-strap” shoes for years. I remember wearing of these types of shoes over 10 years ago (eek!) in high school. Some things never change, and in this case, some things change just a bit in very original and creative ways. Charles David has upped-the-ante with these ‘Tryst’ heels. It starts with the the main shoe color; a soft pink lizard print lined with metallic gold that keeps the shoe subtle and hip at the same time. But the metallic gold is what brings me to the best, and most surprising part of the shoe – the twisted front strap where you can see the gold lining! It’s an unexpected twist (no pun intended) to the original style of these types of shoes. The twist and the lizard print are sexy little details that will let everyone know you’re no wallflower.

Charles and David ‘Preppy’ Wedge
Cute, simple, and chic…the ‘Preppy’ wedge really has it all here for you. Of course I love the buckle feature but I also really dig the ribbon straps mixed in with the leather. The different textures makes the show stand out more. The wedge is also nice, I’m tired of seeing those huge weaves with wedges, I love the tight more refined weaving (looks more expensive too). This wedge will look great with a dress or a pair of dress shorts. No worries for the people who actually live in a state where winter effects the weather, put on some cute dark denim jeans and your set to go!
