Who knew that patent leather would last this long, let alone remain present in all seasons?!  DV has provided us with a great chic summer wedge.  The black patent makes it seem a bit dressier but still playful for those all nighters with your best buds. I am huge fan of wooden wedges, I just think they look high fashion and elevate the look of any outfit (cork… not so much).

The inner hipster in me would totally rock these in the spring and summer.  Although I must admit, the one thing that holds me back is the strap reserved just for the big toe.  Big toe strap aside, I love the distressed gray leather and woven straps adorning the whole front of the sandal.  I am also a fan of the zipper and in this case it is actually functioning, as it is a necessary step in putting on the sandal.  Speaking strictly the to the hipsters out there, leather straps across the forehead are no longer in style, let’s embrace them where they were really meant to be, on your feet.

I’m not sure how I feel about shoe companies and their quest for ironic names, but this sure tops the list.  Yes, we are moving toward spring, yes sandals are rarely ever seen in the snow, and yes despite the odd name this shoe is adorable.  I love how the alligator texture and wooden heel make this sort of 50’s chic. You can instantly create a spring work wardrobe by updating your shoes and the ‘Snowbunny’ would be a perfect place to start.

You have to admit, these platform jean pumps are kind of cool.  Something about dark denim makes you feel ultra hip.  I’m even liking the subtle logo along the side of the pump.  Not only do they show off a great designer (non-obnoxiously, of course) but they add to the whole denim feel, like having the logo on your back pockets.  The only thing I ask is that there be no matching jean outfits accompanying these shoes.

It is time to set aside your converses and embrace the Onitsuka Tiger brand.  I have been pushing this brand for 5 years now (although it has been around for waaay longer) and it just never jumped into the spot light like Chuck Taylors did.  However, it is a favorite among many, but with the different color combinations and styles it comes in… it is pretty hard to resist.  The ‘Ultimate 81′ in bright green and blue is perfect for spring and summer.
