UGG ‘Brookfield Tall’ Boot
Looking out my window and gazing upon the fresh fallen snow has reminded me that it is about time I start gearing up for the cold weather (and all that comes along with it). Now not only do we need to worry about what outfits go with what shoes but how to stay warm and fashionable. Never fear ladies, UGGs has come out with a perfectly suitable boot for this season’s fashions (and not every high school student or sorority girl will be wearing it). The ‘Brookfield’ boot will still look cute with your tights or leggings but also fit your practical needs. The leather base will be able to withstand water and snow while the suede adds a nice flexibility to your boot.

Shoes for Lovely People ‘Queeny’ Pump
While looking through one of my guilty pleasures, a celebrity gossip site (Ohnotheydidnt.com) I came across one of the many pictures of Lauren Conrad (LC from MTV show ‘The Hills’). I can safely say that she has a great sense of fashion and definitely has a laid back tailored style. In this picture she opted for some royal blue sequin pumps, a sheer black shirt and skinny jeans. The sparkly shoes caught my eye. If she can wear those shoes to lunch then why not any of us on a night out with our best buds? Royal blue sequin pumps is a bit of a stretch for most us, however black sequin heels are just enough to liven up the party and get noticed. These may be more verstile than you think, rock these with a great magenta silk dress or like LC did, and grab your dark denim straight leg jeans and maybe a loose fitting cardigan.

Moschino ‘CA10071C10 SF3′ Flat
I’m beginning to think that all high end designers should look into renaming all their shoes from numbers and random letters to actual names. Even though this shoe lacks a clever or cute name, it is quite adorable. I love the sportiness of the mesh mixed in with the cute ribbon trim (and bow) and the patent leather. There is something very charming about this flat but also modern and hip. For those of you who are in the warmer climates try pairing these with a cute high waist pleated skirt and a thin button up collared shirt. Going chic and tailored never fails.

Nine West ‘Jai’ Pump
If you’re blessed enough not to be in the icy cold and rain, snow, or hail, then it’s definitely OK to still be wearing a peep toe stilletto-like this Nine West Jai pump-in the middle of December. I unfortunately do not have that luxury, but I hope you do. I love the tan contrast trimming around the black patent (but not too shiny) leather. Super flattering and a classic combination never to go out of style. Also, the Nine West Jai is a pump that looks great at all angles.

RSVP ‘Heidi’ Boot
Because I haven’t been living underneath a rock and I stay current with pop culture the first thing that came to mind when I saw name of this shoe was ‘Speidi’ which unfortunately stands for Spencer (prick) and Heidi. Despite what comes to mind when I think of this shoe I think this boot looks cute and comfortable. I’m a little sick of seeing UGGs, so it’s nice to see something other than suede on the exterior of a boot. But be warned, while your feet may stay warm this material isn’t easy to maintain. Watch out for rain, puddles, and mud!

Adidas Originals House Party
What is it like to be invited to a ultra cool hip hop/sports Adidas party? I’m not quite sure, however the only thing that crossed my mind when I watched this video was, “Where is it and How do I get in?” Adidas has been bringing us style mixed in with an urban edge since Run D.M.C sported their shoes without laces. Since then Missy Elliot and fashion designer Stella McCartney have gotten in on the action.
Adidas is finding its way into the spotlight once again, merging a few of my favorite things, hip hop, sports, and fashion. It’s not all about stilettos and patent leather, sometimes we all need to hangout in our hoodies and sneakers. But this time around we won’t have to sacrifice our personal style.
Calling all Yoga doers, music lovers, and sports players… embrace the brand that designs for all of us.
P.S Remember those big puffy black (or blue) Adidas coats we all wore with the 3 stripes going down the arms? Classic.
