Luichiny ‘Gal Lop’ Dress Sandal

Luichiny-Gal Lop-Sandal

I go weak in the knees for these satin beauties. The organic pleating along the straps and pretty bow in the back have me wanting these just because. They have a subtle zipper in the back, but they are barely noticeable because your eye is automatically drawn to the double petal bow.

Because these heels come in 8 vibrant colors, they are perfect for bridesmaid shoes! Just make sure they don’t steal the show away from the bride.

Steve Madden ‘Ulltra’ Pump

Steve Madden 'Ulltra' Pump

Aside from my constant irritation with Steve Madden and his inability to name shoes with the correct spelling, I’m feeling these cute little suede pumps. Some of us don’t like kitten heels (me) and some of don’t want to spend 8 hrs in 4” platform pumps either (me). Which is why the Steve Madden ‘Ulltra’ Heel hits the mark perfectly. The slightly pointed toe is ultra (that is how it’s really spelled!) flattering, as it elongates the leg and gives your butt and calves a boost. I am especially digging the berry color, it’s not as bright as pink and not overly done like red.

Alexander McQueen ‘242387WA0Q0′ Peep Toe

Alexander McQueen '242387WA0Q0' Peep Toe

Even after his untimely passing Alexander McQueen’s outrageous and innovative style will live on. This understated bandage shoe is all about being in control with a chic edginess. The peachy-orange zipper down the middle gives this nude heel a burst of color with a fun twist. Even as you walk, onlookers from behind will get a glance of the same bright color underneath the sole. However, keeping true to designer duds this heel doesn’t come cheap. I have a rule: When a shoe’s name consists of numbers and letters that don’t form a word, it’s out of my price range. Still holds true, but doesn’t make me want them any less.

Gravis ‘Slymz’ Sneaker

Gravis-Slymz-Sneaker

I must admit, I fall in and out of fads and sometimes follow the masses. Chucks and Vans being one of them. Although I feel guilty for not continuing to wear them because they have fallen from fashion, because truthfully they look cute and are super comfortable. So onward my search goes for that trendy, cooler than your average sneaker..sneaker. The Gravis ‘Slymz’ (that name is borderline a game changer) has a similar feel to Vans but puts a sleek Keds spin on it. I am especially digging the matte purp color with the neon lining along the rubber sole. This makes me beyond excited, since my lazy days consist of skinny jeans and American Apparel hoodies.

Sam Edelman ‘Divine’ Sandal

Sam Edelman-Divine-Sandal

Planning that romantic wine tasting trip through Tuscany this summer? Well then, you will need these chic rustic sandals to complement your linen tank dresses and silky camis. OK, so maybe instead of Tuscany it will be a walk through your neighborhood park and instead of wine, it’s bottle of juice from your local market, either way fabulous sandals for summer is a must.

L.A.M.B ‘Vail’ Platform

LAMB-Vail-Platform

With my recent obsession over Native American inspired prints and tribals, it almost hurts that I can’t have this platform. Even despite the fact there will always be a looming fear that I won’t be able to walk properly in these 4.5” heels. Something about the matte red and black diamond shapes with a surprise cut-out draws me in. Not only does Gwen create a show-stopping silhouette and print, she adds the woven platform! Ah, genius in my book.

Corso Como ‘Fabulous’ Flat

Corso Como-Fabulous-Flat

Fresh cut grass, daisies and full floral sundresses all come to mind when I look at the Corso Como ‘Fabulous’ Flat. The laser-cut design and rounded toe gives it this springtime feel, especially in this kelly green color. It’s weird to think that green can be such a taboo color in a wardrobe… because when you think about it, who does green not look good on? So give it a chance, extend that hand (attached with a credit card) and slip into these festive flats. If girly is not your cup of tea, pair them with a dark skinny and faded rocker t-shirt, accented by a thin scarf. Now there’s no excuses (unless, of course you just don’t fancy the color green).
